Covid Protocol:
We know that most of our member schools have gone to a mask-optional policy in their schools, and we are heartened by the falling covid death, hospitalization, and infection rates in TN. At this time, masks will be optional at this event, but that is subject to change. Participants will not be required to wear a mask, but we all must be aware that the risk of exposure to infectious diseases, including Covid, is a reality when we gather together, particularly when we meet with people from different states, cities, and schools, as we will at this event. If you are concerned about possible exposure to Covid or other airborne diseases, we strongly recommend that you wear a mask. Hand sanitizer and disposable masks will be available at the event check-in table.
Please note that we are basing our safety protocols, including mask policies, on the most up-to-date data and information we have. As safety guidelines continue to shift based on the latest research, case counts, and medical treatments, we will determine our on-site masking and distancing protocols accordingly, meaning that protocols will be different from one event to the next.

Acknowledgment of Risk and Safety Procedures
Participation in TAIS events signifies an attendee’s acknowledgment of infectious and other diseases and voluntary assumption of the risk of exposure or infection by attending the event. Attendees agree to comply with all guidelines and procedures, including distancing and/or masking, that may be implemented by TAIS, in accordance with recommendations from the CDC and other public health authorities.

TAIS Board-Approved Cancellation Policy
Attendees will receive a full refund for an in-person event if they cancel up to three weeks prior to the event and a 50% refund up to two weeks before the event. Refunds are not possible after two weeks prior to the event due to the costs incurred for food orders and other administrative and setup fees. All refunds will reflect a 15% administration fee.
