The Covenant School is a longstanding TAIS member, and our network of schools is grieving with their community at this time. We are grieving for the community, lives lost, and the trauma endured, and we mourn Katherine Koonce, TAIS Treasurer, who as many of you know was a beacon of kindness, a generous supporter of others, and an inspiring leader in education. We recognize that TAIS’s strength lies in our connections and thought partnership amongst our member schools. We are offering our members a resource folder on our member login page which includes organizations who can help support, upcoming virtual offerings, and suggestions for responding to this tragedy with different constituents. TAIS has been fortunate to work with several organizations that specialize in emotional support and counseling services for schools, students, and families. The following groups have provided professional development and other resources for TAIS and its member schools and stand ready now to assist our independent school communities: ___________________________________________ Plan Ahead for 2023-2024!
