TAIS Ethical Practices in Employment and Admissions
The school will recognize the right of its faculty and staff to discuss employment at another school without notifying their current school, as long as discussion concerns a school year for which they are not already under contract.
The school will not issue a contract to a candidate for employment who is already under contract at another school unless the candidate is released from that contract by the other school.
The school recognizes the right of its students and families to consider other educational opportunities. A school will not actively recruit students who are currently enrolled at another school unless those students are enrolled in their terminal year at the other school.
If a student transfers to another school, the school will provide appropriate academic records to the new school in a timely manner, unless contract provisions at the current school are not fully met.
