Deepfake Sexual Abuse: Crisis Management Virtual WorkshopDate: Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 10:30-11:45am CST With the continued rise of generative AI, the risk of deepfake sexual abuse incidents is rapidly emerging, and schools should enter the 2025-2026 academic year with a clear and effective risk management plan. In this 75-minute webinar, independent school leaders will gain critical insight into how these incidents unfold, why they are an urgent risk, and how the legal landscape is evolving at both the state and federal levels. Through a tabletop incident simulation, attendees will work together on response strategies and explore best practices for mandatory reporting, victim support, evidence handling, policy development, crisis communications, and community education. Margaret Livingston, Head of Middle School at University School of Jackson, will share how she partnered with Evan Harris of Pathos Consulting Group to proactively craft her school's policy and response framework—offering practical insights and lessons learned along the way. The session weaves together legal context, scenario-based decision-making, and real-world examples to give leaders both clarity and confidence.
