Generational differences, geographic mobility, and possible implications of school choice in Tennessee are quickly evolving parents' expectations of schools. In this workshop led by field experts at Finalsite, participants will learn how to proactively and strategically identify, meet, and sometimes reset these shifting expectations through marketing and admissions. Workshop Leaders: Colin Wyenberg, EdD, Enrollment Solutions Consultant, Finalsite Dr. Colin Wyenberg has over 20 years of experience working in Admissions and Enrollment in both higher education and PK-12 independent schools. His doctoral research focused on fostering pathways of enrollment for underserved communities. Like many educators, he has also worn many additional hats, served on a wide range of committees, and loves the magic of a school community. As an Education Solutions Consultant at Finalsite, he works with schools across the south to step up their admissions and enrollment processes and advance the mission of the school. Lorrie Jackson, Educational Sales Consultant, Finalsite With 20 years of experience working with or in K-12 schools, Lorrie Jackson is a frequent presenter on online marketing and web strategy for independent schools. She served as the director of marketing, teacher, and technology coordinator at both independent and public schools and has spoken at Jeff Wack's Marketing Institute, CASE-NAIS, ISM, NAIS, and many regional and state conferences. Her chapter “Marketing Through Social Media” appeared in the 2011 edition of The NAIS Handbook on Marketing Independent Schools. With over 300 awards, Finalsite supports schools in telling their story well. They specialize in communications, enrollment, and website tools that prove especially valuable to independent schools. TAIS Board-Approved Cancellation Policy
Attendees will receive a full refund for an in-person conference if they cancel up to six weeks prior to the event and a 50% refund up to four weeks before the event. Refunds are not possible after four weeks prior to the event due to the costs incurred for food orders, hotel contracts, venue costs, and other administrative and setup fees. All refunds will reflect a 15% administration fee. |
